Imphal, April 08 2023: Textiles Minister Nemcha Kipgen has greeted the people, specially Christians on holy Easter Sunday.

"Easter is one of the most important days for Christians across the world as it marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ after he was crucified on Good Friday.

Since the day marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ, it is also known as Resurrection Sunday or Easter Sunday.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ reaffirms our faith in innate goodness of humanity," she said in her message to the people.

She wished that the Easter Sunday may bring new hope, happiness, prosperity and strengthen the bond of oneness.

Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC) too wished the people, specially Christians on Easter Sunday.

"The bodily resurrection of Jesus on Easter is the triumph of good and justice over evil and injustice.

Thus, Easter became the most significant day for Christians because it gives hope for justice and life, even in the midst of suffering, for the whole world.

His resurrection guarantees our resur- rection and a glorious future for those who trust in the Lord.

As we celebrate His resurrection, may this hope through the Living Lord Jesus bring hope, peace and justice in our life and the whole world," said MBC.
