UNLF mourns

The Koireng-led UNLF has mourned the demise of its MPA Captain N Pandamba alias Inaocha of Heirok Part 2 Chingol on August 1, 2026 .
Born on July 19, 1986, Captain Ningthoujam Inaocha alias Pandamba alias Parlour was the second son of Ningthoujam Subon and Ningthoujam (ongbi) Amuleima of Heirok Part 2 Chingol, said a press release issued by the outfit's Secretary of Publicity M Shak-Hen.
N Inaocha left home to join the outfit when he was only 15 years old.
He completed BMT in the 24th batch at WTF camp in 2002 .
He was posted at Laijang camp in 2003 and went to Sajik Tampak in 2005 for MPLF .
Inaocha was stationed at Molcham in 2005 and Khengjoi in 2006 .
He fought bravely against enemy forces during Operation Khengjoi in 2007 .
Inaocha alias Pandamba was a vigilant and capable freedom fighter, the outfit said.
He stayed together with cadres of other revolutionary outfits at the united base area of Taka from 2012-2015 .
He went to the Manipur valley in 2016 and joined the CORCOM's joint military force JFF in 2017 .
He also served as an MPA fighter for a long time at MPA's 241 battalion and tactical unit and been staying in Manipur valley since 2023 to discharge duties assigned by MPA/Ghqs, the outfit said.
It said that Captain Inaocha alias Pandamba served as a key officer of MPA till the day he died.
Captain Pandamba was a capable cadre loyal to the party and committed to the cause of the liberation movement, the outfit said.
At a critical juncture when some self-seeking opportunists bargained the party and the revolutionary with India, Captain Pandamba stood firm for the party, it said.
Offering the highest revolutionary salute to late Captain Pandamba, the outfit has expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, relatives and friends.
It also prayed that the mortal remains of Captain Pandamba may merge with earth and rest
in eternal peace.
