CADA organises awareness programme

Imphal, June 22 2025: Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) organised one-day academic awareness programme on the topic 'Effects of drugs and narcotic substances on students' at Moral Education Centre, Iroisemba on Sunday.

In a release, CADA informed that the programme was attended by Moral Education Centre secretary Lourembam Brajabidu and CADA vice president Ningthoujam Doren as presidium members, while CADA general secretary Takhellambam Geetchandra Meitei was the resource person.

Speakers highlighted the detrimental impact of narcotic and addictive substances on students, and elaborated how it ultimately affects society as a whole.

They also stressed the role of parents, teachers, and meira paibis in the fight against drugs and alcohol to make Manipur a drug-free state.
