FESOK organises State Level Painting competition

Imphal, June 22 2025:
In connection with the World Environment Day, the Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) organised the 3rd State Level Painting competition at the DM College of Science auditorium, on Sunday.
Speaking on the sidelines of the competition held under the theme "Beat Plastic Pollution", FESOK secretary general Khangembam Manjit pointed out the importance of educating students on the need to protect the environment.
He stated that if students understand the harmful effects of plastic on the environment, significant progress can be made in mitigating environmental degradation.
It was with mis objective in mind that the painting competition was organised, he said.
The competition conducted in three categories namely category A (class I to III), B (class IV to VI) and C (class VII to X), was participated by around 1100 students.
Little Flower School class III student Artemesia Thongram, St George High School class V student Sagolshem Purel Mangang and Heritage Convent class VIII student Nongmaithem Korounganba bagged the top position in category A, B and C respectively.
In addition to second and third prize winners, seven consolation prizes will also be awarded.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held on June 29 .
