Security meets held at AR COBs in Noney district

Noney, April 17 2025: Assam Rifles organised interactive security meetings with villagers at Gaidimjang and Tupul COBs in Noney district on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

The meetings aimed at fostering a sense of mutual understanding and cooperation between the security forces and the local population, focused mainly on security related concerns about movement of UG groups in the area.

Other concerns discussed centred on cooperation from the village authorities in preventing any untoward incident, pre-recruitment training for youth, and other issues being faced by the locals.

The meeting at COB Gaidimjang was attended by 15 representatives while seven representatives from nearby villages took part at the Tupul session.

At the end of the security meetings, the village authorities conveyed gratitude towards Assam Rifles for keeping their villages peaceful and for extending assistance whenever required by them.
