EC BSF ADG visits state, reviews situation

Imphal, November 14 2024: Kolkata-headquartered BSF Eastern Command's additional director general (ADG) Ravi Gandhi arrived here on Wednesday on a four-day state visit to take stock of the prevailing security situation and review the operational preparedness of security forces in the wake of the recent escalation of violence.

In a release, BSF M&C Frontier PRO informed that the ADG called on the Manipur chief secretary, adviser (security), director general of police and additional DGP (Law and Order), and discussed the prevailing security scenario in the state.

On Thursday the ADG visited BSF locations at various places, interacting with BSF officers and troops and appreciating their relentless efforts and contribution in maintaining law and order.

He also motivated them to carry on with their duties with utmost professionalism.

The ADG also interacted with officers of Assam Rifles, police and district civil administration, the PRO informed.
