Aggrieved parents demand re-exam

Imphal, February 26 2025: A group of parents has demanded re-examination of the Social Science paper for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination by scheduling a new date after the question paper of the subject was leaked yesterday.

The leak, which occurred through WhatsApp groups, has raised concerns about the fairness and integrity of the examination process.

Today, a group of concerned parents gathered at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai to express their outrage and disappointment over the leaked Social Science question paper for the ongoing HSLC examination.

They unanimously demanded that BOSEM reconduct the examination for the affected subject.

The parents emphasized that not reconducting the examination would put sincere and hardworking students at a significant disadvantage.

They also argued that students who had access to the leaked question paper would have an unfair advantage over those who did not.

The parents urged BOSEM to take immediate action to ensure fairness and integrity in the examination process and ensure the well being of the students.

They stressed that reconducting the examination is essential to maintain the credibility of the examination and uphold the principles of fairness and justice.
