Meitei STEM boy makes it to Johns Hopkins University

In an inspiring feat, 2025 (US) National STEM Champion Bryan Hijam has been accepted to the prestigious Johns Hopkins University, where he will pursue Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Major.
Bryan's feat has inspired many others and has become a role model, said North American Manipur Association (NAMA), congratulating the young lad of Manipur origin.
Bryan Hijam is son of Hijam Bobo Singh and Hemabati Rajkumari, Baltimore, Maryland.

"We are thrilled to share some amazing news about one of our own! Bryan Hijam has been accepted to the prestigious @ Johns Hopkins University where he will begin his journey this fall (2025) as a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Major," said NAMA on Facebook.
Bryan Hijam is a 2025 National STEM Champion and one of only two students selected from the entire State of Maryland.
"Bryan's achievement is a testament to what dedication and perseverance can accomplish, and he stands as an inspiring role model for young NAMA members.
His journey will surely motivate many in our community to aim high and pursue their dreams," said NAMA, congratulating Bryan.
