Imphal, August 22 2024: Chairman of MSME Promotion Council of India (MSMEPCI) Pradeep Mishra Sarkar has assured to promote entrepreneurship in Manipur and other North East States.

He gave the assurance during an interaction cum orientation programme on MSME held at Hotel Imphal at North AOC, today.

At the function, Pradeep Mishra said that 90 per cent of people in the country are unaware of different schemes launched by the Government to empower artisans and promote entrepreneurship.

Saying that Manipur, although a small State, has a role to promote Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), he urged the people to take full benefits of the Government schemes.

Further stating that beneficiaries who want to take bank loans under MSME schemes don't know how to get the benefit, he assured that MSMEPCI will assist the beneficiaries who want to take bank loans.

He went on to state that MSMEPCI is prepared to organise 100 industry business meets to encourage the people to become successful entrepreneurs.

MSMEPCI, State Chairman Dr Romeo Thono Paokhomai, Deputy Circle Head of Punjab National Bank Kundan Kumar and Chief Manager of State Bank of India (CR & NPA) Pratimeshwor Samom also attended the programme among others.
