Imphal, April 19 2025: A sit-in protest was held today con-demning the bomb threat at Lanleima Electronics Hub at Moirangkhom Sougaijam Leirak Machin.

A bomb was discovered in front of the electronics shop the previous morning.

Placards with inscriptions "We condemn the bomb threat at residential areas" and "What is our fault" were displayed during the demonstration staged by the locals of Moirangkhom and staff of the electronics shop.

Speaking to the media, RK Ibechaobi, a protester, said that the bomb planted in front of the shop caused panic among the locals and staff.

Saying that there could have been casualties if the bomb had gone off, she appealed to all concerned not to repeat the act.

Further stating that the shop employs about 50 staff, the protester added that she condemned the threat.

She also urged all concerned to resolve misun- derstandings, if any, peacefully instead of resorting to threats.
