Pambei-led UNLF condoles

Imphal, April 17 2025: The Pambei-led UNLF and its armed wing MPA have condoled the demise of its local cadre Amarjit alias Khaagi.

Amarjit alias Khaagi died due to a medical problem today, according to a press release issued by the outfit's Department of Publicity and Education Director Charairongba Thokchom.

Born on 10th July, 2002, Amarjit alias Khaagi was adopted by Ingudam Somo Meitei and Memchoubi Leima of Sagolband Tera Khuraijam Leikai at a very tender age.

After completing local militia training, Khaagi joined the Pambei-led UNLF in January 2023 .

He went home on leave yesterday.

But he suffered a heart attack and died, it said.

Khaagi had an elder brother but the brother too had died.

Khaagi was a young, patriotic and disciplined revolutionary cadre who had the will to sacrifice his life for independence of his motherland, it said.

The outfit has also shared solidarity with the bereaved family.

It further prayed that the mortal remains of the departed revolutionary cadre may rest in peace on the soil of the motherland.
