Imphal, February 14 2025: The American Oncology Institute (AOI) at Babina Specialty Hospital, Khabeisoi, Sajiwa Jail Road was honoured with the Nursing Practices Award by the Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) as part of the AHPI Healthcare Excellence Awards 2025 .

The award ceremony was held in Kochi, Kerala, said a press release issued by Gopen Tongbram, Sales & Marketing, AOI Babina Specialty Hospital.

Key highlights of the award include- recognition for outstanding nursing standards and patient-centric care, acknowledgment of best practices in nursing education and training, demonstrated excellence in clinical efficiency, patient safety, and compassionate care and commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in healthcare.

The recognition was awarded to the Institute after it successfully surpassed over 200 hospitals across India, said the statement.

Speaking on this achievement, Dr Dhabali Thangjam, CMD of Babina Groups expressed gratitude and hailed the dedication and relentless efforts of their nursing professionals.
