Imphal, September 12 2025: The All Manipur Nupi Marup has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come to Manipur with a firm decision to bring a solution to the protracted crisis, not just for inaugurating or laying foundation stones of some projects.

A press release issued by the All Manipur Nupi Marup asked the Prime Minister to bring out a concrete policy which would establish peace and stability in the State.

If Prime Minister Narendra Modi genuinely cares for the people of Manipur, Meitei representatives must be allowed to take part in the Churachandpur rally and Kuki representatives must also be brought to the Imphal rally, it said.

The Prime Minister must control all unlawful activities.

Highways must be opened immediately and all buffer zones must be removed.

Moreover, all the IDPs must be allowed to return to their homes at Moreh, Churachandpur, Kangpokpi and other places, the All Manipur Nupi Marup said.

The Prime Minister must also announce a relief package for IDPs, it said.

The All Manipur Nupi Marup further asked the Prime Minister to see that the integrity of Manipur remains intact not just in words but also on the ground.
