Imphal, July 06 2024: In continuation of the humanitarian aid extended to the people affected by the recent flood, Rotary Club of Polo City, Imphal provided relief materials to the flood affected families of Taret Khul, Pukhao and Thongju on Saturday.

A team led by Rotary Club of Polo City, Imphal, president Elangbam Sovid and secretary Sanglakpam Preshyojiy Sharma visited the flood affected areas and handed over the relief items. Local clubs of affected areas expressed their gratitude to Rotary Club of Polo City, Imphal for the assistance during this difficult time.

Meanwhile, conflict survivors staying in the relief camp opened in Kamakhya Pemton College, Hiyangthang and volunteers have conveyed their gratitude to Thokchom Satyabarta Singh, MLA of Yaiskul AC and Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly for providing relief materials to the camp.

On July 5, Thokchom Satyabarta distributed materials such as food and mattress to the conflict survivors staying in the camp to provide some relief and alleviate their problems caused by the prevailing tense situation.
