Imphal, August 03: Four cadres of the proscribed PREPAK were apprehended by a combined force of Bishnupur police commandos and troops of 12 Maratha Light Infantry during a search operation at Nambol Chingmang Khori-phaba Leikai slain According to a press lease issued by the SP Bisl nupur district, the PREPAK cadres have been identifie as Khomdram Arunkum alias Thembung alias Nick (22) s/o Kh Amuyaima c Nambol Chingmang Khor phaba Leikai, Khomdrar Nanaobi alias Athe (18) s/ Kh Amuyaima of Nambol Chingmang Khoriphab Leikai, Khomdram Kira alias Bungo (18) s/o late Kunjo of Nambol Ching mang Khoriphaba Leike and Md Arush alias San (21)s/oMd Liakat Alialia Soukat of Kwakta Thong khong.

One 9 mm pistol (Norin co) was also recovered frori their possession.

All of them have been handed over to Nambol police sta tion, added the release.

Meanwhile a press release issued by SP Imphal East Th Radheshyam in formed that one PREPAK activist identified as Thokchom Sunil Deol alias Suny (26) s/o Th Ibochouba of Heirok Part II Maya Leikai was apprehended by Imphal East commando from Porompat DC Road at about 12.30 pm today.

In another incident, another PREPAK cadre identified as L Chandra Kumar alias Laicha (30) s/o L Nganba was nabbed by troops of 21 Assam Rifle from Wangoo Tera area during an operation today said an AR PRO release.
