In view of the plight of the displaced victims who have been rendered homeless by the ethnic violence, he urged the authorities concerned to expedite measures for resettlement of these displaced victims at their respective native lands.
He called for collective efforts to safeguard the integrity of Manipur and work in coordination for the well-being of displaced victims until and unless they are resettled.
Expressing serious concern over the ongoing construction work of a RCC bridge over Manipur river near K Molnom village amid the restrictions, Rajiv appealed to the Government to stop the construction activities at the earliest to maintain peace and tranquility.
He further cautioned that if the Government fails to stop the construction activities, Langsai Thouna will destroy the same along with the support of the public.
