For the third day in a row, the JFD Women Wing carried on its signature campaign of MLAs on the issue of updating the National Register of Citizens (NRC) before census.
Members of the JFD Women Wing met MLAs Thounaojam Basanta Kumar (Nambol AC), Dr Sapam Ranjan (Konthoujam AC), Sorokhaibam Rajen (Lamsang AC) and Irengbam Nalini (Oinam AC) .

As done with other MLAs whom the JFD Women Wing had met earlier, a five-point memorandum was submitted to the four MLAs today together with a written declaration which pledges support to the mass movement aimed at keeping all census works at bay until all illegal immigrants are identified by way of updating the NRC with 1951 as the base year.
Apart from expressing support to the "No NRC, No Census" movement, all the four MLAs namely; Th Basanta Kumar, Dr S Ranjan, S Rajen and I Nalini appended their signatures on the written declaration, according to a press release issued by the JFD Women Wing.
