Senapati, June 22 2025:
While extending service for humanity, Royal Brothers Club of Senapati organised a social service along NH-2 (Imphal-Dimapur Road) on Saturday, focusing on the most affected areas.
The social service, which began early in the morning from Maram Centre, continued until dusk, reaching Senapati Bazar.
Volunteers cleared drains and levelled the highway, which was filled with potholes, with the help of two JCBs.
Addressing the media at the spot, Rajoy, the club's finance secretary, stated that the club was formed in 2018 under the motto "Ride for Brotherhood" .
The day also coincided with World Motorcycle Day, and to mark the occasion, the Royal Brothers Club cleaned the National Highway between Senapati Bazar and Lairouching, particularly in areas most affected by mudslides.
The club secretary emphasised that this was purely a voluntary service, carried out without any government, organisational, or individual assistance.
He stated that the club undertook the initiative out of love for the people of Senapati.
The social service was conducted under the theme: "Social Service for a Better Environment and a Safer Senapati" .
