Bishnupur, April 17 2025: The 53rd foundation day of Moirang Thangjing Yageirel Marup was celebrated at INA Martyrs' Memorial Auditorium, Moirang on Thursday.

The function was attended by Moirang MLA Th Shanti Singh and Moirang Thangjing Yageirel Marup president Moirangthem Noida as chief guest and president respectively, while former Moirang MLA M Prithibiraj Singh and Historical Heritage Development Organisation, Moirang president K Mohindro were the guests of honour.

As part of the event, lectures on "Moirang Leibakta Pankhiba Ningthousing" and "Anganba Matamgi Moirang gi Ngamkhei" were delivered respectively by retired principal of Kumbi College Kumam Jugeshwor Singh and Moirang Thangjing Yageirel Marup executive member Hemam Boyai.

In addition, a book titled "Lairik Moiranggi Puwarida Shalwol Langwol", authored by Moirang Thangjing Yageirel Marup president Moirangthem Nodia (Nodia Ngangoicha), was released during the event.

Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the painting competition organised in connection with the foundation day celebration.
