Kakching, July 23 2025: A one-day cultural awareness programme was organised by Harinam Sankirtana Jagya Mandali, Kakching Khunyai Leikai at Grace Cottage Cultural and Educational Foundation (Grace Cottage Academy), Kakching on Wednesday.

The programme held under 'Guru Shishya Parampara' was attended by Jagya Mandali president Naorem Mani Devi, senior member Mayanglambam Lali Devi and Grace Cottage Academy, academic in-charge Elangbam Roni Devi as presidium members.

As part of the event, artistes of the Mandali performed 'Khubak Ishei' for students.

Meanwhile, the Academy under the aegis of Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, and Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change conducted tree sapling plantation programme under 'Ek Ped Maake Naam 2.0' along the Lourel/Louyai stretch of Kakching to Pallel road on Tuesday.

The plantation drive participated by life members of Grace Cottage Academy Eco Clubs for Mission, students and teachers was carried out under the theme 'School Lfead the Campaign for a Sustainable Future.
