AR flags off kids' winter camp in Tamenglong

Imphal, December 16 2024: Tamenglong Battalion Assam Rifles flagged off the 2nd edition of winter camp for children of Tamenglong district on Monday.

The camp, which aims at providing a wholesome experience to young children through educational, cultural and adventure activities, was flagged off at the Tamenglong Battalion headquarters for 53 volunteers selected for the camp out more than 150 children registered.

"The camp intends to develop innovative thinking, hone natural skills and develop a penchant for hobbies and during which children would also be taken on outdoor excursions and educated on various social issues through positive indulgence," a release said.
