Awareness programme on NEP-2020 organised

All Manipur Arts and Culture Students' Union (AMACSU) organised an awareness programme on National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 along with a felicitation programme of its new members at Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) auditorium on Thursday.
The programme was attended by JNMDA director Pukhrambam Bilash Singh as chief guest, AMACSU president Koijam Premkanta Meitei as president, and Directorate of Art and Culture deputy director (programme) G Dharmadas Sharma as guest of honour, while DM College of Teacher Education associate professor Kh Dineshkumar and faculty Dr Huidrom Rakesh were special guests.
In his speech, Koijam Premkanta stressed the need for art and culture practitioners to pursue the same either as a profession or academically.
As NEP-2020 provides numerous benefits for art and culture artistes, the programme was held to spread awareness of the same, he added.
During the programme, associate professor Kh Dineshkumar and Dr Huidrom Rakesh spoke as resource persons.
As part of the programme, the new members of AMACSU were also felicitated, followed by various cultural programmes.
