NCB IG visits Moreh, inspects ICP

Imphal, July 02 2025: Inspector General of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) R Sudhakar on Wednesday visited Moreh to inspect certain stretch of the Indo-Myanmar border.

It is speculated that the IG made the visit in view of concerns over continued drug smuggling activities in the border region, with an intention to identify and take up effective measures to tackle the illicit trade.

During the visit, the IG surveyed the Integrated check post (TCP) Gate no land 2 and the stretch along Border pillar no 79 .

Later, he visited Shree Angala Parmeshwar Shree Muneshor Temple in Moreh.

The IG was accompanied by Tengnoupal SP Rahul Gupta and Moreh PS officer in-charge Md Salauddin.
