Cash aid provided to injured village volunteer

Kakching, June 02 2024: United Youths of Heirok, and Pothaminnasi Khangminnasi, two YouTube channels provided financial assistance of Rs 13,000 to village volunteer Ningthoujam James (21), son of Rajib of Heirok Part 2 Maning Leikai, who was injured in a gunfight with Kuki militants near Genjang village under Machi police station on April 12 .

The financial aid for treatment of the injured village volunteer was contributed by subscribers of the two YouTube channel.

Administrator of the two channels, Ningthoujam Kameshwor visited James at his home on Sunday and handed over the cash assistance.

He appreciated the contribution of village volunteers in defending the villagers from the relentless attack by Kuki militants and stressed the need for preparing more village volunteers to counter the offensive by Kuki militants.
