World Mental Health Day observed in Kakching

Kakching, October 31 2024: Kakching Khunou College Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), NSS Units of the college, National Mental Health Programme (NMHP/State Health Society, National Health Mission, Manipur and District Mental Health Programme (DMHP), Kakching jointly observed World Mental Health Day with a mental health awareness programme at the College on Thursday.

The programme held under the theme 'It is Time to Prioritise Mental Health in Workplace' was attended by DHS mission director/chief medical officer Dr Thaodem Rajen as chief guest, College principal Dr P Memcha Devi as president and NMHP state nodal officer Dr A Ranita Devi as guest of honour.

DMHP district nodal officer Dr Khangenbam Gopeshwar delivered the keynote address of the programme, which had College's academic in-charge O Binoy, Employees' Welfare Association president N Mohendra and DHS programme manager Oinam Pushpa Devi as the resource persons.
