Inter-village road project executed under CSR

Noney, October 04 2024: Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, construction of an inter-village road in Noney district headquarters spanning eight days and along with the widening of the cemetery compound in Longmai Part-3 has been executed.

The works were undertaken collaboratively by ABCI Pvt Ltd, a construction company affiliated with the NF Railways, and Ganpati Pvt Ltd, a national highway construction firm, by deploying their respective machinery, overseen by ABCI PRO Alan Kamei, and Ganpati PRO Kabamdai Gangmei, to cut the curve portion above 200 metres on the inter-village road at Longmai Part-3 in Noney district headquarters.

The excavated earth was utilised to fill and widen the cemetery compound's slopes.

Private excavation machines such as JCB and HYWA provided by Kenan Kamei (KMC), Thanilung Gangmei, Gangmeilan and Kabamdaj Gangmei were also pressed into service.

Longmai-3 village leaders, particularly church leaders, expressed their gratitude to authorities of the two construction companies and owners of the machinery for the successful execution of the works.

They also affirmed continued support and cooperation to the companies by the villagers and public of the Longmai area.
