JDU distances itself from INDIA bloc

Imphal, July 30 2024: Despite supporting all activities of the joint forum of 10 political parties in connection with crisis in the state since May 3 last year, Janata Dal (United), Manipur will no longer participate in any activities of the 10 political parties or INDIA bloc.

In a statement made available to the media, Janata Dal (United), Manipur secretary general M Dorendro, said that while the party's state unit had participated in the activities of the forum formed by the ten political parties, it had not taken part in any of the agitations led by the INDIA bloc, Manipur.

Moving forward, the JD (U), Manipur State Unit will neither support nor participate in any activities led by the ten political parties or the INDIA bloc, Manipur.
