Jiribam, July 29 2024: Leishem Club, Khungthek conducted a social service camp in Sorok Atingbi area under Jiribam district and planted saplings of different varieties oh Sunday.

Leishem Club president L Samarendra, who led the social service camp, expressed gratitude to the locals for taking part in the programme.

Plantation has become indispensable responsibility for every citizen in view of degrading eco system, he said and appealed people to look after the saplings planted till reaching maturity.

He also said that executive members of the club have decided to take care of the planted saplings every day.

The social service camp cum plantation drive was also participated by executive members, functionaries and members of the club.
