WHRO-NER appeals to uphold peace, love

Imphal, July 21 2025: World Human Rights Organisation-North East Region (WHRO-NER) appealed to both the Kuki and Naga communities of Manipur to uphold peace, love and mutual understanding during the present critical period.

In a statement, WHRO-NER general secretary Chonlalpaul Kipgen urged both the Kuki and Naga communities to refrain from arguments, hatred or violence which go against the teachings of Christ.

"Instead, let us extend hands of kindness, compassion and understanding to one another so that the world may see the true light of Christian love and unity.

As followers of Jesus Christ, both the Kuki and Naga communities must live out the message of love, forgiveness and unity, " he said.
