Imphal, August 09 2025: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur celebrated Rak-sha Bandhan, also known as Raksha Sabhadan, with events held across the state to promote love, unity, and respect.

ABVP women members tied rakhis to soldiers of the Army Battalion as a gesture of gratitude for their dedication and service to the nation.

The celebrations extended to various educational institutions, where students and faculty members joined in to foster harmony and brotherhood, according to a press release from the ABVP Manipur.

At the ABVP state office in Imphal, members gathered to observe the festival, strengthening mutual trust and commitment within the organisation.

Leaders of ABVP Manipur highlighted that Raksha Bandhan is not solely a festival for siblings, but also a symbol of safeguarding values, culture, and the nation, emphasising its role in inspiring the youth towards Seva (service) and Sanskriti (culture).

The programme concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of both the state and the country.
