Kakching, March 05 2025: Under 'Operation Sadbhavna', a bore well was successfully installed by the Assam Rifles at Purum Lampak village, Kakching district, which will provide continuous water supply to the villagers.

An inauguration ceremony was held on Wednesday in the presence of Waikhong SDC M Binbin Singh, major Shivam Sachan of 46 AR and Purum Tampak village village chief and secretary.

The AR as part of their humanitarian initiative completed the installation of bore well.

The facility is intended to serve all the villagers providing them a fixed and permanent source of water for their daily activities.

In line with 'Operation Sadbhavana' also known as 'Operation 'Goodwill', AR is undertaking various projects showcasing the force's dedication to community well-being and national integration.
