Cash aid extended to VDF member's family

Imphal, July 02 2025: Imphal West District VDF Employees' Welfare Association provided financial assistance of Rs 2,00,000 to family member of VDF member Kh Singhajit alias Mani (No 111474), who was posted at Patsoi police station and served duty at Laipat Parao, Awang Sekmai.

He passed away on June 24 while on duty.

In a release, publicity secretary Y Pushparaj Singh informed that the Association under the supervision of Imphal West district SP Ksh Shivakanta Singh extended a total sum of Rs 2 lakh, out of which Rs 1 lakh would be in fixed deposit, specifically for his three children.

It also commended Sekmai police station and Patsoi police station for their physical and financial support.

The Association also shared the pain and grief of the bereaved family members.
