Imphal, March 29 2025: The book release ceremony of "Tribal Administration in Northeast India (Assessing The Mao Naga System)" written by Late Dr Adakho Poji K was held today at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul, Imphal.

Notable dignitaries at the ceremony organised by the late author's family include N Athikho Joseph, president, Mao Council; Dr Dhanabir Laishram, social scientist; A Saloni Tony, president, Senapati District Student Association and Pfokrehrii Matekho Pekosii, president, Mao Student Union.

At the event, N Athikho Joseph shared that Dr Adakho Poji K, s/o A Kasipuri Poji from Mao Makhan Centre, passed away in 2013 .

He wrote a thesis while undertaking PhD research at Manipur University, which has been turned into a book by Poji's family and released to the public today.

Meanwhile, Dr Dhanabir Laishram stated that the book will prove to be beneficial to research scholars, people of the Mao Naga community and other groups residing in Manipur.
