CRPF hands over water harvesting tank

Imphal, February 27 2025:
Under the aegis of Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF IGP, 143 battalion CRPF on Thursday handed over to people of a village in Tamenglong district a water harvesting tank (6x6x6 feet) constructed under its Civic Action Programme for the year 2024-25.Battalion commandant Ravinder Sharma formally handed over the water harvesting tank in the presence of Tamenglong SDO Meidinbui, additional SP Josiah Panmei, village chairman Lungkhupao Panmei, deputy commandant Amaree Prasad, assistant commandant Ksh Binodkumar Singh, C/48 Bn AC Danish Raza Khan and E/143 Bn OC Inaobi Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder informed that under the Civic Action Programme, 143 battalion is making efforts to address the needs and requirements of the locals and will continue to serve the people of Manipur by carrying out such humanitarian activities.
The commandant also expressed hope that the initiative will help build thrust between CRPF and public.
Meanwhile, a press release issued by the battalion stated that people of Tamenglong were grateful and thanked the Battalion for construction of the water harvesting tank.
