Imphal, June 25 2025: A 3-day workshop on 'Basic Course in Medical Education (BCME)' organised by Medical Education Unit (MEU) of Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) at CMC Imphal Campus, Kyamgei from June 23, concluded on Wednesday.

As per a release, National Medical Commission (NMC), Regional Centre, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong, co convener & Department of Anatomy's Dr Bishwajeet Saikia was coordinator of the BCME workshop under the under the aegis of NMC, Regional Centre.

A total of 27 faculty members (20 from CMC and seven from RIMS, Imphal) participated in the workshop, the valedictory function of which was attended by CMC administrator professor Gang-mei Angam, joint secretary (health & family welfare) Dr Yumnam Suraj Singh, joint director (DHS) Dr Arambam Probinchandra Singh, CMC deputy director (finance) Rajesh Ngangbam and MEU coordinator Dr Okram Sarda Devi.
