Imphal, June 24 2025: Security forces recovered a consignment of 3.258 kg World is Yours (WY) tablets from an Alto car near Lilong Arapti Lamkhai bridge under Lilong police station on Monday.

However, the driver of the vehicle could not be arrested.

According to the police, security forces including Thoubal district police conducted frisking and checking in Lilong and Lilong Arapti areas based on specific information.

A dark grey Alto car (WB 26S/6240) was found abandoned near Lilong Arapti Lamkhai bridge which upon inspection led to the recovery of the WY tablets, and photocopy of registration certificate (RC) of Alto LXI car bearing registration number NL 05C/3245.A case has been registered at Lilong police station for further investigation in connection with the recoveries, said the police.
