AR conducts competitions, provides hands-on learning

Assam Rifles Public School, Keithelmanbi, conducted its Annual Science Exhibition and Best Out of Waste Competition, highlighting the creativity and resourcefulness of students from Classes I to XII .
The event was attended by the Deputy Inspector General, Assam Rifles, as the chief guest.
He encouraged the students to pursue their interests in science and environmental sustainability.
Students from Classes IV to XII showcased 33 working models, demonstrating their understanding across various scientific fields, including physics, chemistry, biology, arid technology.
The exhibition featured innovative models such as hydraulic pressure systems for elevators, renewable energy solutions with solar panels and wind turbines, water purification techniques using local resources, and demonstrations of chemical reactions, eco-friendly cleaning agents, and biological systems like the human digestive and respiratory systems.
Other projects addressed the impacts of deforestation, sustainable forestry, rainwater harvesting techniques, automated robots, and a hologram display.
For the younger students, the Best Out of Waste competition focused on creativity and environmental awareness, with awards recognising the most innovative and practical uses of recycled materials, The projects were evaluated on criteria such as creativity, innovation, practicality, and presentation.
"The chief guest also awarded 10 NCC cadets with the "A" certificate for their outstanding performance during the 2023-24 session.
In his address, the chief guest praised the students for their dedication and innovative projects.
He urged them to continue their pursuits in science and technology while maintaining environmental responsibility.
