Imphal, April 12 2025: World Meitei Organisation (WMO) observed its fourth anniversary on the theme of "Unity is Strength" and a people's convention, at Khamba Hall of Hotel Castle, Palace Compound on Saturday.

The observance cum convention was attended by College of Food Technology, CAU Imphal dean Ng Iboyaima, Manipur University Manipuri Department assistant professor Dr Naorem Sanatomba Singh, FOCS acting president Buyamayum Yaima Singh and WMO HQ chief advisor Brahmacharimayum Bicky as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, WMO HQ general secretary Longjam Samson recounted how the organisation was established and its responsibilities and activities till date in reviving the community, while promoting love and harmopy between the different communities.

Buyamayum Yaima Singh urged for discussions amongst the people on how to resolve the prevailing crisis in the state, considering that talks have been initiated to restore peace in the state.
