AMMOCOC urges people to get vaccinated

Imphal, July 04 2021: Vaccination is one of the greatest means to protect ourselves from COVID-19 and we should not believe in rumours and fake news about vaccines.

SM Jalal, president, All Manipur Muslim Organisations Co-Ordinating Committee (AMMOCOC) said this at a press conference which was held at its head office in Hatta and added that the pandemic has been causing havoc in the daily life of the public.

The Vaccination drive launched by the Government is for the safety and welfare of the people and it is safe as proven by many studies and trials conducted by experts across the world, he added.

SM Jalal appealed the public especially the Muslim community to get vaccinated at the earliest in order to aid the fight against the pandemic and ensure a faster return to normalcy.

He also said spreading fake news and rumours about the vaccine should not be believed as they are based on unfounded news.
