Kakching, July 02 2025: Chandel MLA SS Olish, accompanied by DC Laishram Nandakumar and ADC Md Firoj Khan, conducted an inspection visit to United College, Lambung, Chandel district on Wednesday.

A reception programme in honour of the visiting dignitaries was also organised at the college in the presence of principal Dr Solomon Nungchim, United College Teachers' Association president SK Dominic Bepol and history associate professor Hb Mungkher.

During the visit, the college authorities submitted a memorandum to the MLA, DC and ADC, proposing repair of the multipurpose hall, construction of a pucca boundary wall, a new administrative building, four additional female washrooms, repairing of defunct washrooms, and construction of water reservoir.

As part of the programme, a tree plantation drive was also carried out on the campus, led by MLA SS Olish.
