'Drug Abuse Prevention' camp for students held

As part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025, a one-day awareness programme for school students on 'Drug Abuse Prevention' was held KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Khangabok on Saturday.
The programme was organised by State Level Co-ordinating Agency (SLCA), Manipur, Singjamei Mathak Chongtham Leikai and Eramdam Ningol Yaiphakol (ERANYAI), an integrated rehabilitation centre for women run by Rural Voluntary Organisation (RVS), Thoubal Wangbal Mayai Leikai, in collaboration with National Institute for Social Defence (NISD), New Delhi under the theme 'Breaking the Chain: Prevention, Treatment and Recovery for All' with KM Blooming Higher Secondary School principal Dr Kh Romen-kumar, SLCA director Aheibam Jayentakumar, field officer Mongjam Ranjit and ERANYAI, Wangbal project co-ordinator Keidongbam Malemnganbi Devi present as dais members.
Around 90 students attended the programme during which resource persons 'enlightened them on 10 topics related to drug abuse and addiction.
