Imphal, November 26 2024:
All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has appealed to all stakeholders not to call/enforce bandhs, blockades or general strikes so as to ensure smooth conduct of the pre-board examination commencing from December 2.The Association also urged the government to exempt the education sector from the purview of any curfews.
In a release, AMRPSWA secretary P Romen Singh said that students in the state are facing serious inconveniences due to frequent closure of educational institutions.
In light of the ensuing pre-board examination, he appealed to all concerned to ensure successful conduct of the examination, by making the education sector a disturbance-free zone.
"The future of Manipur looks bleak if educational institutions continue to be impacted by the unrest situation in the state," he observed and urged the state government to take action to protect the careers of the students.
