Health camps conducted in flood-hit areas

Imphal, June 22 2025:
The Lions Club of Imphal Golden Pride, in coordination with Iboyaima Hospital & Research Centre and the Flood Relief Camp Joint Coordinating Committee, Heingang, conducted a mega health camp for flood-affected residents of Heingang Mayai Leikai currently staying at Wakambam Maning community hall on Saturday.
Regarding the health camp, Lions Club of Imphal Golden Pride general secretary Leimapokpam Ranjita said that around 100 flood-affected residents of Heingang Mayai Leikai who attended the camp were also provided with necessary medicines.
She said the mega health camp, covering medicine, gynaecology, skin, and surgery, was conducted under the aegis of Lions Club International District 322D.As part of the camp, nursing officer Mutum Monica and her family also distributed relief materials to the flood-affected residents of the locality.
Meanwhile, the Mahabali Sevayat Society organised a free Ayush public health camp-cum-Yoga campaign at Mahabali Hanuman Thakur Mandir premises on Saturday.
Homeopathic physician Dr Tripti Thounaojam of Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Konjeng Leikai, and Ayurvedic physician Dr Bidyapati Sarangthem of Ayush Hospital, Singjamei, attended the health camp conducted for flood-affected residents of Mahabali and surrounding areas.
The health camp was held as part of the International Day of Yoga celebration.
