Haemophilia patient assistance prog held

Imphal, April 17 2025:
In connection with the observance of World Haemophilia Day, INTAS Foundation in association with JNIMS Medicine Department organised Haemophilia patient assistance, self-infusion and general awareness programme at the department on Thursday.
Speaking at the programme, JNIMS Medicine Department associate professor Dr Irom Anil explained that haemophilia is a disease generally prevalent among man.
People with haemophilia often experience prolonged bleeding when injured, he said.
Though the number of people suffering from haemophilia is not high, JNIMS is making people aware about precautionary measures to be taken up by the patient, he added.
During the programme, experts shared precautionary measures for individuals with haemophilia and elaborated on correct methods and locations for medication.
