Various activities conducted under HGT campaign

Kakching, August 13 2025: As part of Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) campaign held in connection with the 79th Independence Day celebration, Chandel district police under the aegis of SP Dharmendra Kumar organised a bike rally on Wednesday.

The rally carrying the message of unity and significance of the National Flag was flagged off by the SP from Japhou Women's Market and culminated at Liwa Sarei bridge after covering various locations in the district headquarters.

The rally was participated by 70 personnel of the district police.

On the other hand, South East Manipur College (SEMCO), Komlathabi, Chandel district Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Cadet Corps (NCC) jointly organised a rally under HGT campaign on Wednesday.

The rally was participated by principal Kshetrimayum Suresh, faculty, staff and students.

Meanwhile, the HGT campaign continued in the Kakching district with government department officials, students, children and citizens participating in various activities.

In respect to the Independence Day celebration, Kakching Municipal Council has installed a mobile toilet at the District Sports Association (DSA) ground where the main function will be conducted.

Other departments concerned assigned for the function are also involved in the preparations for the celebration.
