Awards presented to best performing Depts

Imphal, May 11 2022: Department of Information Technology, Manipur on Wednesday organised an award distribution function for Best Performing departments in Government e-Markets (GEM), at the Sangai Hall of Hotel Imphal, North AOC here.

The function, which was held as part of workshop cum training for departments using the latest features and on-boarding of GeM, was attended by chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar, additional CS MH Khan, additional CS (health) Vumlunmang and e-market officials.

Department of Information Technology bagged the first place, followed by Health services department and General Administrative Department in second and third place respectively, with regard to GeM Best Performing in term of value.

Meanwhile, regarding order and exchange, the Health Services Department won the first place, Education School second and Environment & Forest department third place.

Speaking during the inaugural function of the workshop and training programme, Dr Rajesh Kumar informed that all department-related activities and service providers could be utilised through GeM, as it not only ensures easy user accessibility but also increases security and ease of operations.
