Imphal, June 10 2024:
Following assurances from the director of JNIMS to clear the pending salaries for three months, the Grade III & IV staff of the Institute have deferred for a week their proposed 'No Pay, No Work' agitation, planned for execution from Monday.
In a statement, Trained Nurses' Association JNIMS informed that after the JNIMS director assured of clearing salaries for the month of March and April within a week and for the month of May by June 17, the Association has decided to suspend the protest for a week.
However, if the director fails to fulfil his assurances, the protest would resume from June 18 onwards, it cautioned, while appreciating the people of the state for extending their support to the staff.
