Imphal, May 10 2025: Ima Kondong Lairembi Thougal Lup, Moreh has informed that ritual for Ima Kondong Lairembi (Kum Chanbaj will be performed on May 12 at Kodompokpi relief camp located at Wangjing.

In a release, IKLT, Moreh recounted that the temple of Ima Kondong Lairembi located at Moreh was destroyed in the attack launched by Kuki narco-terrorist on May 3, 2023, adding that Meeteis residing in Moreh subsequently fled from their homes and took shelter at relief camps.

However, Ima Kondong Lairembi Thougallup, Moreh has been performing the annual mandatory rituals of Ima Lairembi, the statement informed.

After series of meeting, the annual ritual of Ima Kondong Lairembi will be performed at Kodompokpi relief camp, Wangjing on May 12 at 8 am, it continued, appealing to the people of Moreh and others to take part in the ritual ceremony.
