State-level SCERT workshop concludes

A three-day state-level workshop for dissemination of the PARAKH Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 result and implementation of Holistic Progress Card (HPC) organised by department of State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) under the sponsorship of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) at Imperial hall, Classic Grande from August 6 concluded here on Friday.
Delivering his speech during the valedictory session, SCERT director Aheibam Romel Singh said that the workshop was conducted with an aim to find ways to improve the performance of weaker students of the state based on all India survey "Parakh Rastriya Sarvekshan 2024" result, and implementation of Holistic Progress Card (HPC) .

He maintained that Holistic Progress Card will help identify the curriculum required by the students, and also in learning purposes in many ways.
A total of 120 teachers from across the state participated in the workshop which was instructed by 4 resource persons including two from NCERT who spoke on a variety of topics.
Mention may be made that the teachers who have participated the workshop will serve as district-level resource persons in imparting the knowledge they have acquired to other teachers through trainings.
