Imphal, June 07 2024:
Trained Nurses' Association has cautioned the JNIMS director that grade 3 and 4 regular staff of JNIMS would launch 'no pay no work' agitation from June 10 if the authorities do not release the pending sala ries of three months within Saturday.
The Association submitted a memorandum on May 16 to the director demanding release of the pending salaries for March, April and May while conveying that other than resorting to 'no pay no work' movement there seems to be no means to draw attention of the hospital authorities.
Recounting that a reminder notice was submitted to the director on June 3 cautioning launch of cease work strike by grade 3 and 4 regular staff from June 10 if the pending salaries were not released within Saturday, the memorandum pointed out that the staffers have been exercising leniency considering the inconveniences faced by the people due to the recent flood.
However, Trained Nurses' Association, JNIMS declared that the member staffers would not compromise with their legitimate rights and demands in case authorities continue to undermine their interest.
